The Adventure of Running a Remote View Practice Website:
|
I received a recent email from a Fellow Remote Viewer:
“Erica,
As I did my remote views this morning, I thought of, as I often do: how you go about choosing your subject matter? I believe that many of us would be very interested in your side of this exciting adventure. Would you consider writing a couple of paragraphs on this topic? I feel that it would make all of us even closer to your thought processes and perhaps make us clearer viewers.
Thanks, TariP”
Well, thanks for wondering…because there is a lot that goes on here in the background to bring you the finished product that you see on the website and the daily Remote Mail. Here is a brief report for you:
To begin with, I am a student of this work like everyone else here. I also practice RV regularly and base my choices for your targets in my personal experience. My husband, Steve, puts together target-sets that I work on and I use some of his work in your targets.
I am very particular about the targets that I choose for the daily & weekly RV practices. First, targets should be as clear a picture as possible with strong central elements that Viewers can pick out.
I choose targets across a broad spectrum of concepts to prevent “guessing” or “association” and I deliberately vary the targets so that Viewers can not just ‘figure it out’ with their analytical minds. It’s big World – let’s ‘view’ all of it!
As an aside, I have found it interesting that many times Viewers will get more ‘hits’ in the weekly practice with the open-ended targets in ‘Room2’. I think this is because there are no hints to trigger associative memory or analytical mind that loves to offer up suggestions of “what it might be”.
I also am careful in choosing your targets because I have seen, time & again, that things ‘paused’ on in an focused state of mind manifest in our lives. For example, in the interview I did with BTO Web-Radio, I spoke of a huge crane that manifested in our front yard a few days after I posted a picture of it on the website as a weekly target. Other Viewers have also mentioned target subjects showing up in their lives as real experiences. So, I consciously pick only those things that I would want you to experience. And, don’t worry…there is a endless spectrum of targets available in the pleasant side of life.
I spend about six hours a month pulling together target-sets from my photo archive for the on-line weekly practice & daily Remote Mails; more if I go hunting for new targets. Compiling & posting all the data for the weekly RV takes a full day on Mondays. Remote Mail takes about an hour every day.
Until recently, my company, Infinite Voyager, was the sole sponsor of Remote Mind & these RV practices. But now, more people are stepping up to the plate to support these services not only with their focus but with regular & spontaneous donations. Thanks! The new computer that you helped purchase has made this work so much easier! I really appreciate the vote of confidence and your donations to support these services are always welcome.
This website and the RV practices are truly a ‘labor of love’ for me and I believe that the objective of creating a quality venue for regular Remote View Practice has been achieved. There is more information and some new features still to post on RemoteMind.net and the desire is to have Spanish & German translations within the site to better serve our international Viewers so that we can build that ‘can do’ neuro–net all around the World. There are also further improvements planned for the daily Remote Mail. Watch for them!
So, my Fellow Remote Viewers, there you have it: a snapshot of the busy back-room that brings you RV practice on-line and in the ‘Remote Mail - Fresh Daily!’ I hope this information is useful to you. Any feedback you have would be greatly appreciated.
From a fellow traveler on the journey,
Erica
